This Privacy Policy explains what data FanMagic collects and how we use it. We aim to collect only what is necessary to operate the Service.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password.
- Configuration data: the creator identity, persona, scenario, links, and assets you add.
- Conversation data: messages exchanged between your bot and your fans, and AI-generated fan memory notes, processed so the AI can reply.
- Payment data: records of credit purchases. Crypto payments are handled by NOWPayments; we do not store card details.
- Operational logs: webhook and error logs used to keep the Service reliable.
- Abuse reports: details (and optional email) submitted through our Complaints / Abuse Report form, used to investigate and act on violations.
2. How we use data
- To operate the AI conversation features you configure.
- To process credit purchases and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
3. Third-party processors
Conversation generation uses third-party AI providers (e.g. OpenRouter, Venice). Payments use NOWPayments. Telegram delivers messages. These providers process data under their own terms.
4. Security
Passwords are hashed. Bot tokens are encrypted at rest. Access controls separate creator and admin roles. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
5. Data retention
We retain account and conversation data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal and accounting requirements.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact privacy@fanmagic.co to exercise them.
